PALMET ENERGY ACQUIRES SHARES OF TRAKYA AND GAZIANTEP NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES PALMET
has acquired all shares of Trakya Region Natural Gas Distribution Co., Gazdaş Gaziantep Natural Gas Distribution Co., and Zorlu Natural Gas Supply Trading Co. as of March 12, 2024. Following this acquisition, PALMET Energy will serve 2 million subscribers in 62 districts across 7 provinces, including 4 metropolitan cities, with 5 licensing areas. Managing more than 15% of Turkey’s natural gas consumption with an annual volume of 8.5 billion cubic meters, PALMET Energy stands among Turkey’s leading natural gas-fired electricity producers with a installed capacity of 956 MW.
