Palmet Enerji's principle operating sectors are in Natural Gas & Power Generation. It operates extensively in the Natural Gas Sector where it owns two City Gas Distribution Licenses outright. It has its own licensed Gas Wholesale Trading Company and also is very active in the provision of  EPC Services and  Gas Network  Support Operations.

In the  Power sector it has rapidly developing interests in  Wind , Hydro &, Geothermal Power Generation and also now has its own Gas Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant.

       





Palmet Enerji continues to invest heavily in the Power & Gas Sectors through its continuing long term investment  in  Gazport, Palen , Palgaz.  It recently made further significant investment in Delta A.Ş. a 60 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant and in Derebaşı, its 13 MW  Hydro Plant. Further investments in the Thermal, Hydro, Wind and Geothermal Power Generation sectors are planned for 2010/11/12.




Palmet Enerji directly owns Palgaz  ,Palen , Gazport and Palmet Elektrik  it also  has significant share Holdings in Palmet-Manitoba JV. Palmet Elektrik A.Ş. in turn owns  Delta Enerji (www.deltaeu.com)  & Derebaşı as well as owning four  Wind Sector Companies; Vires, Biges,Yures, Eres and three Hydro companies; Derebaşı,  Feyza and Ales.

Palgaz (Natural Gas Distribution and Trading Co.) is a Natural Gas Distribution Company that has been awarded a thirty year licenseby EMRA to serve the regions of Gebze, Tavşancıl, Darıca, Şekerpınar, Dilovası and Çayırova. Palmet Energy A.Ş. owns 89% of Palgaz and the local municipality owns 10%. Gebze is approximately seventy kilometers from Istanbul and is located on the northern shores of the Marmara Sea. This is a particularly industrialized region that holds fifty of Turkey's 500 largest enterprises.

Palen Gaz  (Energy Natural Gas Distribution Industry and Trading Co.) is a Natural Gas Distribution Company that has been awarded a Natural Gas Distribution license by EMRA for the City of Erzurum. Palen is 89% owned by Palmet Energy A.Ş. and 9.5% by the Erzurum Municipality and 0.5% by the Ilica Municipality. Natural Gas Systems developed and operated by Palen are located in Erzurum, the densely populated capital of the Erzurum Province, in the Region of Eastern Anatolia.

Palmet-Manitoba Hydro International Mühendislik ve Müteahhitlik Ticaret A.Ş.
Manitoba Hydro International Ltd. (MHI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Manitoba Hydro. Using the human resources of its parent company, MHI provides electric utility expertise in the planning, design, construction, and operations management of generation, transmission, and distribution facilities to clients worldwide. Palmet-Manitoba Hydro International Mühendislik ve Müteahhitlik Ticaret A.Ş. (PMHI) will start its operations by providing planning, feasibility, project preparation, installation and operations services aimed at the hydroelectricity investments that were previously run by Palmet Enerji. PMHI will utilize the engineering knowhow of Manitoba Hydro on such topics as power generation, transmission and distribution technologies within the partnership.

Established in 2005, Gazport (Gazport Natural Gas Total Sales Trading and Industry Co.) is a Natural Gas wholesale company that holds a thirty year Natural Gas wholesale license, awarded by EMRA. Gazport will take a strategic role in Palmet Energy's future Natural Gas operations.

Palmet Electric was formed to invest in viable Electricity Generation projects and is presently involved in research and development activities and is conducting feasibility studies for Power Production in Hydro, Wind, Geothermal and Thermal Sourced Electric Generation.

Delta is the owner of a 64MW Natural Gas fired Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in the Thrace Region.

FEYZA is an SPC formed to develop an old government Dam and HEPP project close to the Eastern Province of Erzincan.

ALES is an SPC that is formed to develop HEPP projects and dams which is located in Turkey


Biges Elektrik Üretim ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
Biges is an SPC formed to setup a 48MW wind farm in the town of Biga in Çanakkale Province.


Vires Elektrik Üretim ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
Vires is an SPC formed to setup a 60MW wind farm in the Thrace Region of Turkey.

ERES Elektrik Üretim ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
Eres is an SPC formed to setup a 50MW wind farm close to the Aegean Coast in Çanakkale Province.

 
Yures Elektrik Üretim ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti.
Yures is an SPC formed to setup another 50MW wind farm close to the Aegean Coast in Çanakkale Province 20 km away from the Eres Wind Farm.
